Sungrow has supplied its photovoltaic inverters to a 40MW floating solar plant that has been connected to the grid in Huainan in China.
The plant is located on a lake that formed after mining subsidence and rainy weather.
Sungrow supplied its SG2500-MV central inverter, which integrates the inverter, transformer and switchgear as a turnkey station.
It also supplied a SunBox PVS-8M/16M-W combiner box customised for floating power plants that have a high level of humidity and salt spray.
