Chinese module manufacturer Trina Solar is supplying panels to the 15MW Sunshine Coast photovoltaic plant in Australia.
Trina is providing about 57,000 Duomax PEG14 315 W PV modules.
The project, which is owned by the Sunshine Coast Council and located on 24 hectares at Valdora, is on track to be fully operational by mid-2017.
It will provide enough electricity to cover all the council’s needs.
Downer was awarded the contract to design, construct, operate and maintain the facility.
