Vattenfall has extended a high voltage support services contract with EDS HV Management for three further years.
The deal will see EDS provide more services for Vattenfall than previously, including work at the 400kV substation at the 228MW Pen y Cymoedd wind farm in Wales.
EDS will also manage the Swedish company’s HV network 24 hours a day through its control centre, and offer HV support during the construction phase of projects.
They will also provide consultancy on asset management.
EDS group director Ryan Henderson said: “We are pleased to continue building upon our excellent relationship with Vattenfall, and we are delighted that the scope of the contract has been widened further, reflecting Vattenfall’s confidence in our ability and expertise.”
