The Renewables Infrastructure Group has acquired 100% of the 10MW Neilston community wind farm in central Scotland for £22.6m.
The investment outfit took control of the four-turbine project from developer Carbon Free and a local development trust.
Neilston in East Renfrewshire features Nordex N90 and receives 1.0 ROC per megawatt-hour. Statkraft buys the power.
TRIG’s investment was funded by a recent share issue.
The deal lifts the company’s total portfolio to 54 projects with an aggregate capacity of 720MW.
