Dong shareholder Goldman Sachs is to sell of more than 10 million shares in the Danish offshore company at a price of Dkr270 (€36.3) per share.
Business unit New Energy Investments said it would decrease its existing shareholding in the company by more than two percentage points to around 4.5%, or about 19m shares.
The initial planned bookbuild offer to institutional investors was increased from 8.8 million shares “due to strong demand”.
Dong will not receive any proceeds from the deal.
Goldman Sachs took an around 20% shareholding in Dong in 2013 as part of a wider €1.5bn deal.
