A2Sea jack-up Sea Installer has started installing the first of 91 turbines at Dong Energy’s 573MW Race Bank wind farm off the coast of Norfolk in the UK.
The vessel arrived in Hull in late April to load components that up the Siemens 6.3MW hardware.
The wind farm is expected to be online in early 2018.
Sea Installer arrived at the Humberside port from Newcastle, where four adapter rings were bolted onto the craft ahead of load-out.
