NextTracker has started supplying its single-axis trackers to a 750MW solar plant in northern Mexico.
The project is scheduled to enter commercial operation by mid-2018, and, so far, NexTracker has shipped over 200MW of its units to the site.
The company is manufacturing a range of structural, mechanical and electrical components locally for the project.
The solar facility will also feature NexTracker’s new SCADA system providing control and data collection and management capabilities.
NexTracker chief executive Dan Shugar said: “Mexico, along with India, Australia and the Middle East is part of a new wave of renewable energy markets poised for significant growth over the next few years.”
