CWind has reached the halfway point of a 15-month project to provide secondary works at Iberdrola’s 350MW Wikinger offshore wind farm in the German Baltic Sea.
The work includes the removal, replacement and repair of equipment and low voltage electrical works and wiring and testing the fall arrest system and navigation equipment.
The project will consist of 70 Adwen 5MW turbines and is scheduled to be complete in November.
CWind managing director for power Lee Andrews said: “We are pleased with the progress on our work at the Wikinger offshore wind farm, and are proud to be working on our first contract with Iberdrola.”
