GE Renewable Energy posted first quarter revenue of $2bn in the first quarter of 2017, up 22% year on year.
The US giant said orders in the three months totalled $2.1bn and that the onshore services revenue grew by 90% year on year.
GE highlighted international growth in the wake of its Alstom takeover, with 1000MW of orders outside the US.
It also said that new onshore product platforms “continue to be well received” and represented 87% of units ordered.
