A pair of Vroon supply vessels have completed support work for MPI jack-up Discovery at the 400MW Rampion offshore wind farm off the south UK coast.
VOS Prime and VOS Prelude delivered supplies, including fresh water, to the installation vessel during turbine installation in February and March respectively.
Vroon said “smooth communication, efficient operations and good weather” assisted the successful completion of the job.
MPI is continuing with the installation of MHI Vestas 3.45MW turbines at the project.
Eon, the Green Investment Bank and Canadian energy company Enbridge are investors in the project.
