Glasgow-based Smarter Grid Solutions has formed a partnership with India’s Enzen Global that will allow it to deploy its grid efficiency software to new markets in India, the Middle East, South Africa and Australia.
The partnership will help utilities integrate large amounts of renewable energy seamlessly into electricity grids, the companies said.
Enzen is the first partner to be appointed by SGS as a distributor of its products outside its home markets of Europe and North America.
SGS said it is pursuing other potential partnerships for its resource management technology.
“These products have been proven to vastly improve grid efficiency and reliability, reducing the cost of renewable integration and maintaining electricity supplies, vitally important to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions,” SGS executive vice president Alan Gooding said.
