Canadian Solar subsidiary CSI New Energy Holding Company has sold two solar plants in China totalling 69.5MW to Shenzhen Energy Nanjing Holding Company.
The $99.8m transaction was closed in March and Canadian Solar expects to recognise revenue from the sale when all “revenue recognition criteria have been met”.
Canadian Solar chairman and chief executive Shawn Qu said: “We are pleased to have closed the sale of two additional solar power plants in China to Shenzhen Energy.
“We are well on track to monetise our operating solar power plants in China and other countries.”
