Iberdrola has chosen Moventas as one of the selected suppliers for wind turbine gearbox repairs and supply in Europe.
The deal is not exclusive and includes multibrand gearboxes in kW and MW classes for the next three years, Moventas said.
Moventas senior vice president Pedro Figueiras said: “We are honoured to be one of the selected suppliers as a result of this gearbox service tendering process and excited to keep working with Iberdrola.
“Moventas’ ability to address gearbox failures has now been recognised by one of the biggest utilities in the world.”
