Danish wind blade outfit Bladena has appointed former GE Offshore and Vestas Offshore chief executive Anders Søe-Jensen as chairman.
Søe-Jensen, a joint owner of the company, has joined the board and will become chairman from 1 May.
He will help drive the implementation of its technologies in the industry, Bladena said.
The Roskilde company, a spin-off from Denmark’s Technical University, offers solutions to improve existing wind turbine blades or those in production.
“I am pleased that the goals we have achieved so far mean that we can attract someone like Anders, who can really contribute to both strategy and execution,” founder Find Mølholt Jensen said.
