Statkraft has started operating its 36.3MW Andershaw wind farm in southern Scotland.
The facility in South Lanarkshire, which is now fully operational, consists of 11 Vestas 3.3MW V117 turbines.
Construction began in late 2015 and the installation of the machines was completed in last November.
Andershaw is Statkraft’s third onshore wind farm to come online in Scotland, following the 52.5MW Baillie plant and the 66MW Berry Burn facility.
“The completion of Andershaw wind farm marks the culmination of several years of effort to safely and responsibly deliver this large energy project,” vice-president of UK asset ownership David Flood said.
“I’m especially pleased at the success we’ve had delivering regional economic benefits from the construction activity.”
