Lightsource Renewable Energy has appointed James Brooks as chief strategy officer.
He will oversee the strategic development of the company, with direct responsibility for leading the company’s US and Indian operations, establishing future international markets and developing strategic partnerships, Lightsource said.
Brooks (pictured) will also be a member of the executive leadership team and board at the company.
He has 18 years’ experience in energy and technology, most recently as co-head of energy investments in the merchant banking division of Goldman Sachs.
Brooks said: “I am delighted to be joining Lightsource at such an exciting time in both the solar market and in the development of the company.”
