Vestas has hired Clive Turton to head one of its two new Asia-Pacific sales business units, effective from 1 April.
He will be based in Singapore covering all Asia-Pacific countries, including India, apart from China and Mongolia, which are covered by a separate business unit.
Vestas announced on 22 February that it was splitting its single Asia-Pacific sales business unit into two groups from 1 April.
Turton (pictured) has more than 15 years of experience in Asia-Pacific markets, most recently as chief executive of Asia Power Development Platform, a joint venture between Macquarie and German company STEAG.
