Revenue at turbine blade manufacturer LM Wind Power increased 35% to €280.9m in the last quarter of 2016, up from €207.7m in the year-ago period.
The Danish outfit said in interim results it also booked a 45% year-on-year increase in EBITDA with the final quarter returning a €40m result compared to €27.6m in the last three months of 2015.
LM Wind recorded a pre-tax profit of €13.7m for the quarter, up from €3m for the corresponding period.
The company said “strong revenue” was down to the inclusion of figures from its Brazilian business as well as a manufacturing plant in India.
The preliminary figures suggest LM Wind Power revenue for the full-year 2016 is a shave over €1bn compared to €750m in 2015, with EBITDA of €100m compared to €52m a year earlier.
