JinkoSolar’s revenue jumped 38.5% in 2016 to RMB21.4bn ($3.08bn), compared with RMB15.45bn in 2015.
Revenue was boosted by a 47.5% increase of solar module shipments, which reached almost 6.66GW last year, up from 4.51GW the previous year.
JinkoSolar chief executive Kangping Chen said: “While market sentiment is gloomy overall, we remain optimistic about the global demand in 2017.
“China remains our largest market where we expect growth momentum to continue during the first half of 2017 as rush orders come in before the FiT (feed-in tariff) cut in June 2017.
Chen also cited market opportunities in India, USA, Latin America and Middle East.
