Nordex Group has received unit certification for its N117/3000 turbine from FGH Zertifizierungsgesellschaft to allow the hardware to connect to the German high-voltage grid.
The VDE-AR-N 4120 certification is a prerequisite for connection to the German high-voltage grid and the operation of wind turbines from 1 July 2017, Nordex said.
Nordex said the certificate means its customers can now make more “dependable plans for projects with the N117/3000”.
The company said it will also shortly be receiving the unit certificates for the remaining wind turbines from the Gamma and Delta platforms.
