Vestas is transporting turbine components to the construction site of the 50MW Tsetsii wind farm in Mongolia, while general construction is paused because of unfavourable weather.
The Danish manufacturer said that high winds and an extreme chill factor had halted general construction at the site.
“We are taking advantage of this time to further the transportation phase,” Vestas said.
It expects to start turbine installation in the early spring.
