Vestas Wind Systems has won an unconditional order to supply turbines totalling 110MW to an unnamed client in China.
The deal is for the supply of hardware from the Danish manufacturer’s 2MW platform.
Delivery and commissioning are expected to start in mid-2017, Vestas said.
The company added that the identities of customer, project and type of turbine have been withheld at the client’s request.
