Suzlon Group has won a repeat order for turbines totalling 50.40MW from an Indian power utility.
The deal consists of 24 S97 2.1MW machines on 120-metre hybrid towers for a project in Kutch in Gujarat.
Suzlon will deliver the whole project, which is expected to be completed by March, on a turnkey basis and also provide operation and maintenance services for an initial period of 14 years.
Suzlon Group chief executive JP Chalasani said: “We are pleased to partner this leading power utility yet again in meeting their commitments of providing sustainable and affordable energy.”
