ConEdison Development has acquired Juhl Energy Services, which includes a pipeline of wind farms totalling more than 500MW in the US.
The deal involves the purchase of Juhl Energy’s interests in three operating projects totalling 36MW in Minnesota and Iowa and a pipeline of about 500MW of projects in the Midwest.
It also includes Juhl Energy’s operating and maintenance services business, which currently supports 10 projects.
ConEdison Development president and chief executive Mark Noyes said: “This acquisition enables ConEdison Development to expand its footprint in the Midwest region, and grow our market share and further elevate our leadership profile in America’s renewables sector.”
