EnBW Offshore Service has started a three-year operations and maintenance contract covering the substation at Ocean Breeze Energy’s 400MW Bard Offshore 1 wind farm in the German North Sea.
The project has been operating since 2013 and consists of 80 5MW Bard turbines.
It was the first commercial wind farm in the German North Sea.
EnBW said the agreement is a step forward in the provision offshore services for third parties.
