German developer BayWa has bought the late-stage 25MW Greycliff wind farm in Montana from National Renewable Solutions and Montana Wind Resources.
Financial terms have not been disclosed.
BayWa plans to start construction immediately and bring Greycliff online later this year.
The wind farm will feature 12 GE turbines on land owned by the Hobble Diamond Ranch in Sweet Grass County.
BayWa will sell the energy for $45.49/MWh to NorthWestern Energy under a 25-year power purchase agreement.
