Vestas is to supply turbines totalling 20.7MW for Karpatenwind’s Staryi Sambir 2 wind farm in the Lviv region of western Ukraine.
The order consists of six V126 3.45MW machines, which will be delivered and commissioned in the second quarter of 2017.
The deal also includes a 10-year full-scope active output management 4000 service agreement.
Vestas Central Europe president Nils de Baar said: “We are determined to contribute to the overall growth of renewable and green energy production in Ukraine.”
