Boralex has commissioned the first 12MW phase of the Plateau de Savernat wind farm in France.
The project, which is located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, currently consists of six turbines, but a further two machines will be installed by April 2017 to bring total capacity to 16MW.
It has a 15-year power purchase agreement with Électricité de France and is Boralex’s 32nd wind farm in France.
Boralex said the project will generate approximately €2.5m in annual EBITDA.
