Nordex is to supply turbines totalling 11.5MW for Valorem’s Aunis wind farm in France.
The project, which is located in the Charente-Maritime département in the west of the country, will consist of nine AW82/1500 machines.
Nordex will also service the turbines under a 15-year contract in conjunction with Valemo, Valorem’s operations and maintenance subsidiary.
The turbines are designed for medium wind speeds and will be installed on 80-metre high steel tube towers, Nordex said.
