Vestas is to supply turbines totalling 24MW for GS Yeongyang Windpower’s Yeong Yang stage 2 wind farm in South Korea.
The Danish manufacturer will deliver seven V112 3.45MW machines for installation and commissioning in YoengYang county in the fourth quarter of next year.
The order also includes a 10-year active output management 4000 service contract and a Scada VestasOnline business system.
Vestas previously supplied turbines to the 59.4MW Yeong Yang stage 1 project, which became operational in 2015.
