Foundation work has started on Terna Energy’s 155MW Fluvanna 1 wind farm in Texas, after funding was secured for the first stage of the project.
The project, which was developed by Tri Global Energy, is owned and will be operated by Terna Energy.
Gamesa will supply 74 G114 2.1MW turbines to the wind farm.
The turbines are slated for delivery in next year, with commissioning to be completed the same year.
