Nordex has received an order for 19 N117/3600 turbines totalling 68.4MW for two wind farms being developed by Bakir Enerji and Marmarares Elektrik in Turkey.
The Esenköy project, which is located in the Marmara region in northwest Turkey, will feature nine machines on 106-metre tubular steel towers.
The Kürekdagi facility, which is in the same region, will comprise 10 turbines also on 106-metre towers.
Construction of both wind farms is due to start in late summer 2017, with completion scheduled for the following year.
