Voith Hydro exceeded forecasts in fiscal year 2015/2016 in terms of sales, orders and profit from operations.
The success was driven by its service business and equipment to build and modernise hydro plants, it said.
The company added that it expects profits to rise in the next year, despite the “fragile” state of the global economy.
It also expects sales to be similar to this year and orders to be slightly up in the coming year, Voith said.
