CWind provided two crew transfer vessels (CTVs) for Siemens to support blade maintenance work at the 194MW Lynn and Inner Dowsing and 90MW Rhyl Flats offshore wind farms.
The work took two months during August and September, CWind said.
The MPC19 vessels included a flexible pod system, which allowed for adjustments to the ships’ deck configuration to accommodate purpose-built frames to help carry out the work, the company said.
CWind managing director Lee Andrews said: “Our flexible CTV vessels are adaptable and able to easily perform blade maintenance operations.”
