Vestas has had its service contract for the 144MW Dokie wind farm in British Columbia extended by Alterra Power Corp and funds managed by Axium Infrastructure.
The new deal extends the contract to 2031 on the 48 V90 turbines.
The Danish manufacturer has been providing operations and maintenance at the wind farm since operations started in 2011.
Alterra vice president of wind Paul Rapp said: “We are pleased to enter into this new contract. We have enjoyed a great partnership with Vestas over the past five years and are pleased to continue this relationship into the future.”
