Vestas has named Helle Bay as group senior vice president for people and culture in order to lead the company’s global human resources offering.
Bay will also become a member of the Vestas executive committee, reporting to chief executive Anders Runevad.
She was previously vice president for people and culture in North America, based in Portland, Oregon, and has been with Vestas for 11 years.
Bay replaces Roald Jakobsen, who will remain at Vestas heading organisational efficiency initiatives until the end of 2017.
Runevad said: “I am very pleased that Helle has agreed to return to Denmark to take on this role.
“I look forward to working closely with her as we continue strengthening our workforce and talent management programs.”
