The 175MW White Rock wind farm in Australia is about to receive its first turbine blades.
Locals are invited to celebrate the initial delivery on 5 December, the project developer said.
Wind turbine components are being transported from the Port of Newcastle via the New England Highway, it said.
The 70-turbine wind farm is being developed by Chinese companies Goldwind and CECEP Wind Power Corp near Glen Innes in New South Wales.
The project is scheduled to be completed by late 2017.
