Renewables consultancy SgurrEnergy has opened an upgraded control centre at its Glasgow headquarters.
The centre is a technical support hub that provides company clients an all-encompassing asset management service, the Wood Group unit said.
The hub provides round-the-clock control, monitoring and management of onshore and offshore wind farms as well as solar projects and associated site contractors.
“SgurrEnergy is constantly striving to improve its client offering, and as a result has committed considerable investment in this state-of-the-art facility, which offers vital services to the renewable energy sector, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year,” SgurrEnergy asset management director Robbie Gibson said.
