Fred Olsen Windcarrier’s fleet of Bayard class crew transfer vessels (CTVs) has been certified by DNV GL.
The vessels have received International Safety Management (ISM) and Maritime Labour Convention certification following auditing, Fred Olsen said.
The audit ensured that all procedures and operations were compliant with the ISM code “enabling the company to meet the future requirements within HSEQ for offshore wind”, it said.
The Norwegian-built vessels are classed under the DNV GL high speed light craft code and also have DNV GL and DMA approval for the carriage of dangerous goods and hot storage facilities.
