Belgian company Storm has completed the 17.1MW Old Mill wind farm in County Monaghan, Ireland.
The project was energised at the start of September and has been exporting power since November, according to Natural Power which provided owner’s engineer services to the wind farm.
It comprises six GE 2.85-103 turbines.
Natural Power construction project manager for Old Mill David Dunne said: “As owner’s engineer on this project, we have worked closely with Storm throughout an extended pre-construction phase and with all stakeholders through a challenging construction phase to successfully reach commercial operations.”
