CWind has won a contract from GeoSea to provide secondary works at the 336MW Galloper offshore wind farm off the Suffolk coast.
The deal involves tasks such as paint repairs, bolting, messenger wire installation, cathodic protection testing and other related works. It will start in December and last for about six months.
CWind said it will provide the full range of multi-skilled technicians, equipment and local project management that is required for delivery.
The 56-turbine wind farm is expected to start operating by March 2018.
“This contract builds on our strong track record in supporting with secondary works on construction across a range of offshore wind farms,” CWind managing director Lee Andrews said.
“We are delighted to be able to partner with Geosea on this project.”
