Innogy Renewables UK has started construction of the 57.4MW Brechfa Forest West wind farm in Carmarthenshire, Wales.
The project is being built on a 140-hectare site managed by Natural Resources Wales (NRW) on behalf of the Welsh government.
It will consist of 28 Senvion MM92 2.05MW wind turbines.
Construction is expected to take 20 months, NRW said.
