Statkraft has named Irene Egset as its new chief financial officer, effective from 21 November.
Egset (pictured) replaces Hallvard Granheim who will now be the new executive vice president for market operations & IT.
The change is part of several to the Norwegian energy company’s corporate management.
Jürgen Tzschoppe will be the new executive vice president for international hydro, replacing Asbjørn Grundt who is stepping down from corporate management.
Jon Vatnaland joins corporate management with responsibility for corporate staff, starting on 1 February 2017.
Statkraft chief executive Christian Rynning-Tønnesen said: “With this composition of the corporate management Statkraft will be well equipped to meet the challenges ahead.
“Our goal is that Statkraft will be one of the most cost-efficient companies in renewable energy.”
