LM Wind Power has reported a 50.3% increase in revenue in the third quarter of the year to €287.2m driven by higher demand for its blades.
EBITDA rose 71% to €47.1m in the period as net profit reached €16.7m, compared with a €1.2m loss a year ago.
The Danish blade manufacturer said the revenue growth was driven by higher sales as well as the inclusion of its Brazilian business and a new manufacturing plant in India.
The company, which has 13 factories, was acquired last month by GE for €1.5bn in deal that’s expected to close in the first half of next year.
