PNE Wind Group posted revenue of €77.1m in the first nine months of 2016, down from €80.5m in the same period last year.
Earnings were also down in the period at €7.2m from €16.7m in 2015.
The company said earnings were lower mainly due to the sale of its UK activities in the first nine months of 2015.
Wind farms with a total output of 125.4MW were either under construction, put into operation or sold during the period, PNE said.
The majority of the projects – 103.8MW – were in Germany, with 21.6MW from the company’s first project in France out of the framework agreement with John Laing Investments.
The company’s wind farm portfolio of internally held projects increased to 142.5MW, of which 124.5MW were operational and 18 MW were under construction.
An additional wind farm with a nominal output of approximately 10MW is currently in the planning permission procedure, PNE added.
“The prerequisites for the planned sales transaction have been reached and the wind farm portfolio should be sold for a three figure million amount directly to an investor by the end of the year,” it added.
PNE Wind chief executive Markus Lesser (pictured) said: “We intend to hold up to 25% of the wind farm portfolio and thus continue to benefit from the ongoing operation of the wind farms.
“We also intend to cover as much of the ‘wind energy’ value chain as possible by expanding our service offering further.”
