MHI Vestas Offshore Wind has appointed Tetsushi Mizuno as its co-chief executive.
He replaces Jin Kato, who will stay on as a senior advisor to the company for the next six months before reassuming a senior role at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Japan.
Mizuno was previously general manager in Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, which is part of MHI group, in Japan.
He was part of the team involved in the establishment of the joint venture between MHI and Vestas.
