Goldwind has chosen local manufacturer Keppel Prince Engineering (KPE) to supply some of the towers for its 175MW White Rock wind farm in Australia.
KPE, based in Portland in Victoria, will build 80 tower sections for the project, or 28% of the sections being used.
The Chinese company started building the 70-turbine wind farm in New South Wales in April and aims to complete the facility by late 2017.
It is the first stage of a development with permission for up 119 turbines.
Chinese supplier Shanghai Taisheng Wind Power Equipment will deliver the remaining tower sections, said Goldwind.
“Goldwind continues to support local jobs and KPE are extremely pleased to be working for the White Rock Wind Farm,” KPE general manager Steve Garner said.
“We look forward to working on further projects into the future.”
