Goldwind Americas has entered into an agreement with Viridis Eolia for the conditional supply of turbines totalling up to 1.87GW.
The 2.5MW and 3MW Goldwind permanent magnet direct drive units will form a multi-phase wind project located in Carbon County in Wyoming called the Viridis Eolia Master Plan.
The first 32.5MW phase will be developed by Little Medicine Bow Wind and is expected to be commercially operational in 2017.
The Viridis Eolia Master Plan’s subsequent phased projects will start operations in years 2018 through 2022.
