Developer Atlantis Resources has installed all four foundations for the MeyGen Phase 1A tidal array in the Pentland Firth.
Geosea jack-up Neptune carried out the work and has been demobilised from the project site off the island of Stroma, Atlantis said.
It added that the project is on track to have all the turbines installed and deliver first power to the grid by the end of the year.
“This offshore operation was a resounding success and importantly has validated the use of jack-up vessels for the purpose of installing tidal turbine foundations offshore in high flow locations,” Atlantis said.
