Vestas has received a turbine order totalling 48MW from CGN Wind Energy for the Nan’an Xiangyun wind farm in Fujian province in China.
The Danish manufacturer will supply the units and supervise installation at the project, which is located in Xiangyun County, Quanzhou City.
Turbine delivery is expected in the first quarter of 2017, with commissioning scheduled for the second quarter.
Vestas Asia Pacific and China president Chris Beaufait said: “This is CGN’s first order with Vestas since the partnership reached the important 1GW of cumulative orders milestone in late September.”
